The Academy is a Snowsports Learning Enterprise,
certified by the Professional Snowsports Instructors of America
with a very distinct difference. Our focus is completely on the
desires and consequential success of our client. Some will look
upon our approach as instruction and others as coaching. Whatever
way you look at it, we are there with you to assist you, the client,
to enjoy your snowsports more.
So what makes The Academy to distinctly different, you might
ask? Let us explain to you some of the ways:
What does The Academy offer?
We offer full days of instruction, coaching or hintful
companionship, whatever way you wish to think of it. You may
book one of our instructors for a day or several days. We offer
instruction in downhill skiing, telemark skiing, cross-country
skiing and snowboarding. We do not offer standard hourly lessons
such as those at the resorts. At the time of your booking, we
will assist you to plan on the best use of the day or days with
your instructor. We are flexible - all for one or one for all
of the family. Your satisfaction is our primary concern. The
only thing that we ask is that we know in advance.
Where will we be skiing or riding?
We are not attached or based at any particular snowsports area
or resort. We will go wherever you, our client, wants to ski
or ride. Wherever there is snow, we will go. Naturally, there
may be some special costs attached.
When are The Academy instructors available; do I need to
book in advance?
We endeavor to satisfy our client's needs whenever possible.
The only way to be certain of having your favorite instructor
available to you at the time that you desire is to ‘book
well in advance'. This is especially true for weekends and holiday
periods. We have a small and select group of PSIA Certified
Instructors, therefore, advance booking is essential.
What is the cost?
Cost is a relative term and truly a matter of perception. We
firmly believe that you will find that the return that you get
from a single day or multi day booking with The Academy will
totally overshadow the monetary investment that you have made.

is required prior to your scheduled booking.
